Whitmore Reans disorder: Five more men charged after three other men were stabbed in Wolverhampton

A further five men have been charged in connection with disorder that left three men with stab injuries in Whitmore Reans in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Police detectives investigating violence in Staveley Road on October 27 last year have charged five more men.

Three men were found with stab injuries, but their conditions were not serious.

Police charged a 31-year-old man from Telford with assault just days after the disorder, and following further enquiries they have now charged five more men in connection with the incident.

Daban Ghafour, aged 43 from Wolverhampton, has been charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon and assault. He is due to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court on March 10.

Ari Kamal, 48 from Wolverhampton, has been charged with affray and is to attend the same court on the same date.

Rawa Said, 19 from Ilford, has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon and Paywand Rafhat, 20 from Walsall, has been charged with affray and assault. They are both due to appear before magistrates in Dudley on March 12.

Marwan Mohamad, aged 19, of no fixed address, has also been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapons to attend Dudley Magistrates Court on March 17.
