Man charged following violent disorder in Bearwood which left three men in hospital
A man has been charged with offences including violent disorder and possessing weapons after being arrested following violent disorder in Bearwood.
West Midlands Police has confirmed that Ronald De Vito has been charged with offences including violent disorder, possession of a knife and having an offensive weapon following the incident on Wednesday evening.
The 42-year-old from Coventry appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Friday for a first hearing. No details are yet available for the appearance.
Three other men who were taken to hospital following the disorder have now been arrested on suspicion of wounding and are in custody for questioning.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We’ve charged a man with offences including violent disorder, possession of a knife and having an offensive weapon following an incident in Bearwood earlier this week.
"Ronald De Vito, aged 42, from Coventry, was appearing at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Fri) for a first hearing.
"Three men - aged between 19 and 30 - were taken to hospital following the disorder in Bearwood Road at just before 6pm on Wednesday.
"They have also been arrested on suspicion of wounding are now in custody for questioning.
