Man charged over drugs supply following raid in Birmingham
A man has been charged with supplying Class A drugs after a police raid recovered heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis.
West Midlands Police confirmed that Kyle Causer had been charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, possessing ammunition and having cannabis after being arrested in the raid on Wednesday morning (February 11).
Officers from the County Lines Taskforce executed the warrant on Tresham Road, Kingstanding and recovered drugs and two bullets, with 31-year-old Causer arrested, while four other people, aged between 14 and 20, were detained on suspicion of firearms offences and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Causer was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday. No details are yet available of his appearance.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We've charged a man with supplying Class A drugs after carrying out a raid in Kingstanding.
"Our County Lines Taskforce, alongside other teams, executing a warrant in Tresham Road yesterday morning (11 February).
"We recovered Class A drugs and two bullets.
"Kyle Causer, aged 31 from Kingstanding, has now been charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, possessing ammunition and having cannabis.
"He has been remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on February 12.
"Four other people, aged between 14 and 20, who were detained on suspicion of firearms offences have been bailed pending further enquiries.
"We’re running Operation Target as part of our work to take drugs and weapons off the streets, and tackle organised crime."
