Man, 18, pleads guilty after 'zombie knife' seized in Birmingham city centre

A man has pleaded guilty after police seized a zombie knife in Birmingham.

Officers from West Midlands Police's Guardian Taskforce were patrolling around Birmingham city centre on Monday, February 9 afternoon, where they stopped and searched a man.

Following searches a zombie knife was seized, and an 18-year-old man was arrested.

The man remains in custody as police continue their enquiries

Roshaan Hussain was charged with possession of a knife and appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 10 where he pled guilty.

The 18-year-old will next be appearing at court in May.
