'Well-known' Kidderminster shoplifter banned from entering several stores including Matalan and Tesco Express

A 'well-known' Kidderminster shoplifter has been banned from entering a number of stores.

Tommy Raymond, aged 37, of Usmere Road, Kidderminster, was handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) for two years after appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Friday, February 6.

The CBO means that Raymond is prohibited from entering any premises on Weavers Wharf Shopping Park or being on the grounds/car park.

He is also banned from Matalan, on Park Butts Ringway, Kidderminster, and the Tesco Express on Stourbridge Lane, Kidderminster.

Richard Clayton of Kidderminster town centre team said: "Raymond is a well-known shoplifter around the town centre whose actions have impacted retailers and members of the public.

“We hope this CBO will serve to protect the stores he has prolifically targeted and help reassure businesses that we continue to take retail crime seriously.

“Raymond’s behaviour towards staff and members of the public will not be tolerated, and we will seek to continue bringing offenders to justice."

Anyone who sees Raymond breaching the terms of his CBO should call 101 or report it online via the West Mercia Police website.
