Appeal launched following 'terrifying' Bewdley robbery where victim was threatened with piece of glass

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a robbery in Bewdley.

West Mercia Police have asked for help in gathering information following a robbery in Ribbersford Road, Bewdley, on Monday morning. 

Three men entered a property at around 9am before threatening the victim with a piece of glass and demanding money.

Following the robbery, the suspects fled the property with between £2,000 and £3,000 in cash and jewellery.

During the incident, the victim sustained an injury to their hand.

West Mercia Police Detective Sergeant Lance Pritchard said: "This was a terrifying experience for the victim, and I am appealing to members of the public who may have seen these three unknown men around the time of the robbery.

“I ask that anyone who was on the Bewdley Bypass between 8am and 9.30am please check dashcam footage to see if they captured the three men involved. 

"I would also like to hear from anyone who has any information to help with our enquiries, to please contact me."
