Sentencing of former priest who abused boys in Wolverhampton and Staffordshire is adjourned
The sentencing of a former Wolverhampton chaplain and priest on two further historic indecent assaults on children has been adjourned.
Edward Phillips-Smith has admitted an indecent assault on a boy under 14 and gross indecency with a boy under 14 in 1978 and 1983.

But sentencing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday was delayed when it emerged he had been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer.
