Interim road ban for dangerous driver who caused fatal crash in Tipton
A dangerous driver has been given an interim road ban after admitting causing the death of a man in a two-vehicle crash in Tipton.
Richard Strickland, aged 47, previously pleaded guilty to causing the death by dangerous driving of Deepak Nayyar and causing serious injury by dangerous driving to Davinder Bains relating to a collision which happened on January 3, 2024.
The incident happened near the junction of Alexandra Road and Thursfield Road at around 6.30pm, resulting in the death of a man.
Judge Michael Chambers KC told a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court this week that the case was not ready for sentencing.
