Three men arrested as drugs and a weapon recovered in Dudley
Three men were arrested after police recovered drugs and a weapon from a car and building in Dudley.
West Midlands Police confirmed that three men had been arrested after Project Guardian officers noticed suspicious activity at Cross Walks in Lye on Monday evening at 9.15pm and stopped a vehicle, with cannabis, cash, mobile phones and a knife being recovered.
Officers also discovered suspected crack cocaine and more cannabis when they searched a storage unit nearby, with three men arrested and one man acting aggressively towards officers.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A or B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and assault on police, while two men, aged 22 and 23 were also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A or B drugs and having an offensive weapon.

They all remain in police custody for questioning.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Our Guardian taskforce play a vital role in reducing knife crime and serious youth violence across the West Midlands.
"The teams are involved in a range of tactics from plain-clothed operations to high visibility patrols.
2We’ve recently boosted the unit by creating an additional team of officers to monitor the streets, prevent violence and seize weapons and drugs across the region."
