Teenager charged after police seize large sword in Wolverhampton city centre
A teenager has been charged after police seized a large sword in Wolverhampton.

Officers from West Midlands Police's Guardian Taskforce were patrolling around Pipers Row, Wolverhampton on Friday, January 30, where they stopped a 17-year-old boy after he reacted to their presence before trying to flee.
After the boy was detained, officers discovered a large sword, and he was arrested for possession of a knife.

The 17-year-old boy has been charged with possession of a knife and will be appearing before Magistrates later this month.
