Police continuing enquiries into collision and abandoned vehicle on Bewdley road
Police have confirmed they are investigating a crash on a road in Bewdley where the driver had fled the scene.
West Mercia Police said it was investigating the incident after being called to Kidderminster Road in Bewdley at around 12.40am on Saturday, January 24 to reports that a vehicle had collided with a building and a parked van.
The force said the driver had left the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to Kidderminster Road shortly after 12.40am on Saturday (January 24) following a report that a vehicle had collided with a building and a parked van, and that the driver had fled the scene.
"Officers attended and a search of the area was carried out but the driver could not be located. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
