Jury deliberates in murder case of five accused of killing man in Walsall street
A jury is deliberating in the trial of five people accused of murdering a man in a Walsall street.
Zain Raja, Amaan Khan, both aged 22 and both of Harden Road, Harden; Asad Iftakhar, Hassan Iftakhar, both aged 33, and Iftakhar Ahmed, aged 52, all of Bloxwich Road, Walsall, deny murdering Mohammed Khan, aged 22, who sustained 30 injuries during a confrontation.
Wolverhampton Crown Court heard that Mr Khan was stabbed, slashed and kicked in Bloxwich Road, Leamore, near the junction with Northumberland Way on March 17 last year, as members of the public milled around.
The trial continues.
