A Facebook post stated: "We are continuing our overt patrols way into the new year, here's what we did today in the town, three PSPO breaches and penalties issued.

"Please be reminded that cycling and driving including parking is an offence in the town centre.
"There were four stop and searches, one person found with illegal drugs (amphetamines) and they were reported for summons to court."
Across Staffordshire PSPO breaches can result in a fixed penalty notice of £100 or a summons to attend court and face a fine of up to £1,000.
