Birmingham drugs warrant uncovers drugs, phones and custom silver grillz

A man has appeared in court charged with drug dealing offences after police execute a warrant at an address in Birmingham.

Officers from West Midlands Police's County Lines Taskforce carried out a warrant at an address in Rookery Road, Handsworth, on Wednesday, January 28.

Following the warrant, officers arrested a 24-year-old man and seized a large amount of drugs, mobile phones believed to be linked to drug dealing, along with a number of items believed to be criminal property, including custom-made silver 'grillz.'

Munith Choudhury has now been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of crack-cocaine and possession of criminal property.

The 24-year-old was remanded in custody and appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 29.

Enquiries are continuing as the County Lines Taksforce works to disrupt the supply of drugs across the West Midlands.
