West Midlands Police said officers armed with a warrant discovered the plants at an address in Dudley Road, Sedgley, on January 27 and that electricity meter had also been bypassed.

Since then Simon Archer, aged 45, from Sedgley, has been charged with offences of production of cannabis, abstracting electricity and possession with intent to supply anabolic steroids.

He is due to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court next month.

The items were allegedly found following searches of the property when a quantity of steroids and cash were found.

Dudley officers have carried out a series of raids in the area with two people arrested on suspicion to supply drugs at other addresses in Sedgley and Coseley on January 28.
