Jury told of acrimonious texts between rowing couple accused of murdering baby in Staffordshire
The jury in the trial of a couple accused of murdering a baby in Staffordshire has been told they sent acrimonious messages to each other.

Amy Clarke, aged 34, of Lichfield, and Sean Jefferson, aged 35, of Walsall, are on trial for the murder of five-week-old Darcy-Leigh Jefferson in March 2022 after she sustained 47 rib fractures and fractures to both legs at an address in Burntwood.
On Tuesday (January 27) Mr Harpreet Sandhu KC, prosecuting, told the jury at Stafford Crown Court: "These messages will help us to find out if Amy Clarke and Sean Jefferson were together."
The messages sent in the weeks after the baby's premature birth frequently included swearing and name calling.
