Man arrested in Oldswinford after reports of 'erratic behaviour' near petrol station
A man was arrested after police were called to reports of erratic behaviour near a petrol station.
West Midlands Police officers were called to the Tesco Extra on Hagley Road in Oldswinford on Monday morning (January 26) after receiving reports of a man behaving erratically.
A man in his 20s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit, assault and assaulting a police officer, with the force saying he had been bailed while enquiries into the incident continue.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to a petrol station in Hagley Road in Oldswinford after reports of a man behaving erratically.
"Officers attended and arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of driving while unfit, assault and assaulting a police officer.
"He has been bailed while our enquiries continue."
