Two trucks seized in Wolverhampton after suspected involvement in high-value theft

Police have seized two vehicles believed to be linked to a series of high-value thefts following a joint operation in Wednesfield.

Officers from the Wednesfield neighbourhood team were working alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Police when they acted on intelligence received earlier in the evening.

During the operation, officers located two trucks suspected of being used to carry out significant thefts.

Both vehicles were seized at the scene and will now undergo forensic examination as part of an ongoing investigation.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police's Wednesfield and Heath Town team posted on X, formerly Twitter: "Great result this evening, where our Wednesfield officers were working alongside colleagues from @StaffsPolice. 

"Acting on intelligence received, we found two trucks that were suspected to have been used to commit high value thefts Both seized for forensic recovery. @WolvesPolice."
