Two men in court after drugs and cash seized in Birmingham

Two men are due in court charged with drug offences in Birmingham.

Aadil Jabbar and Alexander Harrison, aged 31 and 36 respectively, are due in court after an amount of drugs was seized by Operation Fearless officers in Birmingham

An amount of Class A drugs and cash was seized by officers with West Midlands Police's Operation Fearless team after a car was stopped in the Southside area of the city on Tuesday.

Both men were arrested and subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

Jabbar was also charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, driving without a licence, and acquiring, using, and possessing criminal property. 

Harrison was also charged with possession of a Class B drug. 

The pair, both from Birmingham, are due to appear before Birmingham Magistrate's Court this morning. 

A force spokesperson said: "Operation Fearless was set up to target the crimes causing harm in specific communities, and officers have been listening to the feedback from local residents, who say drug dealing is a concern.
