Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Staffordshire

An appeal has been launched after a man was hit by a vehicle in Burntwood.

Lichfield Police have launched the appeal after the incident, which happened in the morning on Tuesday on Cannock Road, with a 4x4 vehicle involved and the male pedestrian suffering minor injuries.

The force has asked for anyone with any information to get in touch.

A spokesman for Lichfield Police said: "We are appealing for information after a pedestrian was injured in a collision with a vehicle in Burntwood.

"The collision happened at around 6.50am on Tuesday on Cannock Road.

"It involved a pedestrian and a 4x4 vehicle, near to the Skoda garage.

"The pedestrian, a man, suffered minor injuries.

"Anyone with dashcam footage, CCTV, or relevant information, is asked to contact Paul.Thomas@staffordshire.police.uk, quoting incident number 263 of 20 January."
