Man, 25, charged with nearly 60 shop thefts in Wolverhampton
A man has been charged with nearly 60 shop thefts across the Wolverhampton region.
Luke Wigley, aged 25, from Wolverhampton, has been charged with 58 shop thefts from stores in Oxley and Bushbury last year.
Wigley was arrested as part of West Midlands Police's efforts to tackle retail crime in the region.

Stores in the Oxley and Bushbury regions were targeted between October, November and December, with some stores being targeted multiple times in a day.
Nearly £2,000 worth of items were allegedly stolen across the crime spree.
Wigley was remanded into custody to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.
A force spokesperson said: "Luke Wigley, aged 25 from Wolverhampton, has been charged with 58 shop thefts in October, November and December.
"This work is part of the national Winter of Action initiative, where we are working with partners in town centres across the region, tackling crime, reassuring communities, and ensuring our high streets are welcoming and safe for everyone. Safer Streets Winter."
