Dudley teenagers charged with weapon offences after police seize machetes

Two teenagers have been charged with weapon offences in Dudley.

Muhammed Marena and Daniel Ofoha, both aged 18, have been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.

It comes after West Midlands Police traffic officers on patrol in Dudley on Thursday (January 15) stopped a car on Cinder Road, at around 10.45pm and upon searching a vehicle discovered two machetes inside.

Both Marena and Ofoha of Dudley, have been remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court today (January 17).
