Two arrested after police stop vehicle linked to Wolverhampton drug dealing

Two men have been arrested after officers recovered a stash of Class A drugs when we stopped a suspicious vehicle in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Police officers spotted a vehicle believed to be linked to drug dealing in Dudley Road, Blakenhall, at just after 9pm on Monday, January 12.

After searching the vehicle, officers recovered wraps of suspected Class A drugs, cash and a number of mobile phones.

Police are appealing for information.

A 24-year-old man and a man aged 45 were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. They remain in police custody for questioning.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Drugs not only ruin lives, but fuel further crime. We're shutting down drug networks across the region day in, day out."
