Police appeal for help identifying Wolverhampton purse thief

Police are seeking the public's help to identify a woman who stole a purse from a shoppers handbag in Wolverhampton - do you recognise her?

West Midlands Police launched an investigation after a purse with bank cards was stolen from a handbag while the victim was shopping at a store on Dudley Street, Wolverhampton, between 1.35pm and 4.20pm on September 16.

Bank cards were then used shortly afterwards at a store on the same street.

Officers have been unable to identify the person in the image and are now appealing for anyone who recognises the woman or has any information that could help to come forward.
