Brothers accused of Wolverhampton Christmas Day murder of Trey Johnson given until March to enter pleas
Two Wolverhampton brothers have been told they will have to enter a plea to the charge of murder concerning the killing of a man on Christmas Day.
Trey Johnson, 30, was stabbed to death in the early hours of Christmas Day at a house party in Burcot Avenue, Deansfield.
After a police appeal for their whereabouts Richard Beckles, 19, and Tiego Beckles, 20, were arrested and charged on Thursday with murder, wounding with intent, and threatening someone with a bladed article in a public place.

The pair appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (Monday) via video link from HMP Brinsford. They were only required to state their name before being told when their plea and pre-trial review would be held.
Justice Michael Chambers KC said: "Your next hearing will be March 2 when you will be asked to enter a plea. You have the right to a trial but you will get credit for entering a guilty plea at the earliest opportunity.
"In the meantime you must remain in touch with your legal team and you will be remanded in custody for the time being."

Mr Johnson, who was 30, was found seriously injured in Burcot Avenue in the Deansfield area of the city just after 3.30am on Christmas Day.

He had suffered stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death sparked a massive outpouring of sympathy online and in the community with a fundraising website being set up in his honour.
