Police arrest man after recovering stolen car in Sandwell
Police have recovered a stolen car and made an arrest in Sandwell.

West Midlands Police were alerted to a vehicle being stolen from outside an address in Grove Vale Avenue, Great Barr, at just before 1.45am today (January 8).
Officers spotted the car on Forge Lane around 15 minutes later but it made an attempt to evade them.

Following a pursuit the vehicle was abandoned and the driver fled.
However, the 22-year-old man was quickly arrested on Station Road, Handsworth, on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and failing to stop.
He is currently in custody for questioning.
