Family pays tribute as 'loving' father of two murdered on Christmas Day named as Trey Johnson
The family of a father-of-two who was fatally stabbed in Wolverhampton on Christmas Day have paid tribute to him.
West Midlands Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the death of Trey Johnson, a 'loving' father of two from Wolverhampton who was stabbed to death on Christmas Day.
Emergency services teams found Trey, aged 30, seriously injured just after 3.30am on Burcot Avenue.

Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Today, Trey's family has paid tribute to him, saying that he was a 'loving father' and a 'caring soul' who 'would do anything for anyone'.
The tribute read: "Trey is a loving sibling, loving father, a loving partner and caring soul.
"Trey is a person who would do anything for anyone. His smile, his love and his energy are infectious and would brighten up the room when he walks into it.
"He was a loving father of two. He was a good man, a good son, who did everything and more for his family.
"We as a family are very proud of Trey, and he will be missed greatly by his family and everyone who knew him."
Investigators have so far spoken to witnesses and are reviewing CCTV footage as they work to establish the exact circumstances and apprehend whoever is responsible.
Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, from the force's homicide unit, said: "Our thoughts are focused on Mr Johnson's family and loved ones, at this incredibly difficult time.
"Our enquiries are moving at pace, and we are keeping the family updated as the investigation moves forward.
"We have spoken with a number of witnesses, but would urge anyone who has information about what happened that night to come forward and talk to us."
