Murder investigation launched following Birmingham stabbing
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Birmingham on Saturday night.
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation following an incident on Swanage Road, Birmingham, shortly after 6.40pm on Saturday.
Officers were called to the road after receiving reports of a stabbing.

On arrival, they discovered a man who was injured; however, nothing could be done to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man, aged 28, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
The force said that a cordon remains in place around the address while they continue their investigations, asking anyone with information to contact them directly via their 101 number.
A force spokesperson said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation, and a scene remains in place while we carry out urgent enquiries in the area to establish exactly what happened.
"We would urge anyone with any information to call 101, quoting incident number 3826 of 20 December, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
