Second man appears in court in connection with Smethwick shooting last month
A second man has appeared in court in connection with a shooting in Smethwick last month.
The gunshot victim was treated in hospital for serious injuries after been blasted in the leg on November 23 on St Paul's Road.
Yesterday (Friday) Asad Khan, aged 22, from Smethwick, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court.
He was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, taking a motor vehicle without consent and possession of Class A drugs.
Khan did not have to enter a plea at the hearing which was adjourned to Wolverhampton Magistrates Court Crown Court in March.
Earlier this month, a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged concerning the St Paul's Road shooting.
He was charged with possession of a fireman with intent to endanger life, wounding, driving offences and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
