Man charged in connection with murder of teenager in Birmingham
A man has been charged as part of an investigation into the murder of a teenager in Birmingham in November.
West Midlands Police said Olivier Gabbis had been charged with assisting an offender following the fatal stabbing of Yassin Alama, who died on November 16 on Hutton Road.
The 20-year-old Gabbis, from Handsworth, was arrested in the area in the early hours of Friday morning and was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Saturday.
A 17-year-old boy was charged last month with Yassin Alama's murder and has been remanded into custody.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, said: “This is another significant update in our investigation, which is continuing.

“Yassin’s family have been kept up to date with this and are still being supported by our specialist officers.
“Our enquiries continue and I would urge anyone with information to contact us.”
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Anyone who knows more about the circumstances around Yassin's death can call 101 quoting log 3135 of November 16.
