West Bromwich drug dealer jailed after being caught with over a kilogram of cocaine seven minutes after picking it up
A drug dealer caught with £60,000 worth of cocaine in West Bromwich seven minutes after picking it up was 'only getting 'a drink' to deliver his highly illegal cargo.
Kavanveer Pahal is now paying a high price for his generous underworld favour after being jailed for four and a half years after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Pahal, 29, was surrounded by unmarked police cars when he pulled his Mitsubishi into ESSO garage on West Bromwich High Street on October 24 this year.
After a short lived escape attempt when Pahal, of Salisbury Road, West Bromwich rammed one of the police cars which had boxed him in he was arrested.

Prosecutor Samuel Leach said: "Police had been acting on information received about the defendant and his involvement in the sale of Class A drugs.
