Two women charged after man found with stab injuries in Birmingham
Two women have been charged with wounding and assault following an incident which saw a man left with stab injuries.
Trisharna Gray and Shanae Gray were both arrested on Monday afternoon after the incident, which happened on City Road in Edgbaston, Birmingham at around 12pm.
It saw a man in his 20s taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, while the two Grays were remanded into custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We've charged two women with wounding after a man was found with stab injuries in Edgbaston.
"We were called to City Road, near the junction of Portland Road, shortly after 12pm yesterday.
"A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with injuries which are thankfully not believed to be life-threatening.
"Two women were arrested shortly afterwards and they have now both been charged with wounding and assault.
"Trisharna Gray, aged 19, and 18-year-old Shanae Gray, both from Edgbaston, have been remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today."
