Birmingham rapist arrested after victim phoned police pretending to order a pizza to give away his location
A Birmingham rapist was snared after his victim phoned West Midlands Police pretending to order a pizza to direct officers to his location.
The 15-year-old girl had seen a video on TikTok where another sexual assault victim had phoned police to ‘order a pizza’ and our force call handler had the presence of mind to understand the situation.
The call handler quickly dispatched officers to the girl as she's been left at the roadside and she was able to provide details of her attacker's car and registration, with officers later arresting him at his address.
Abdul Kahar, aged 41, of Anthony Road, Alum Rock, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to two charges of raping a female under 16, four charges of sexually assaulting a female over 13, non-fatal intentional strangulation and breach of a sexual harm prevention order. He will appear back at court in February for sentence.

Kahar had met the girl on Snapchat in June of this year posing as a 17-year-old boy called ‘Jay.’
