Two men arrested after 100 wraps of suspected drugs seized by neighbourhood police officers in Wolverhampton

Two men have been arrested and 100 wraps of suspected drugs have been seized after local officers spotted two people behaving suspiciously in a car in Wolverhampton.

Officers from West Midlands Police's Ettingshall neighbourhood team detained the driver after halting the vehicle in Milford Road at just after 4pm on December 3.

A passenger had earlier been detained after getting out the car.

Police have appealed for information.

Following searches, 100 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin were recovered as well as a quantity of cash.

Two men, aged 51 and 24, arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply, remain in police cells on Thursday, December 4 as enquiries continue.

New figures show West Midlands Police are arresting a lot more people. From October 2024 to September 2025 they have made 60,111 arrests – an increase of 20,000 compared with 2022.
