Three men arrested on suspicion of drug offences following police helicopter pursuit in Smethwick
Three men have been arrested after drugs were discovered after a police pursuit in Bearwood.
The police helicopter was scrambled to the area after officers spotted a man who was wanted in connection with a wounding matter, driving a car along Bearwood Road in Bearwood at around 4.20pm on December 2.
The car had failed to stop for officers and multiple items were thrown from the window. The National Police Air Service was called to assist officers on the ground, who were then able to stop the car and arrest the occupants.

West Midlands Police said as a result a large amount of class A drugs were recovered.
Three men, all aged 19, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and remain in police custody on Wednesday morning.
