Three arrests and two motors seized during stop and check operation in Stafford

Three people were arrested and two motors were seized during a stop and check operation in Stafford.

Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team carried out a morning of Operation Lightning checks at site off the M6 motorway in Doxey in Stafford on November 19.

The team posted on social media: "We have completed a check site at Doxey on the #M6. Three arrests have been made, ten TPO10s processed, two vehicles seized and six prohibition notices issued. 

"A high risk missing person was also located and safeguarded at the site #OpLightning."

A TP010 form is used by forces to deal with motorists who have committed multiple road traffic offences particularly those involving driving without insurance or a licence. 

The following day the team seized two over loaded cars that failed to meet the required standards on the road.
