Man and woman arrested and shotgun and ammunition seized in Solihull
A man and a woman have been arrested after officers seized a shotgun and ammunition.
West Midlands Police's Solihull Priority Crime Team executed a warrant at an address in Pendrell Close, Chelmsley Wood.
During a search of the address, officers discovered a shotgun and 13 rounds of ammunition, which were all seized for forensic examination.
A 24-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were both arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
Both remain in custody for further questioning.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We have seized a shotgun and ammunition from an address in Chelmsley Wood.
"Officers from our Solihull Priority Crime Team carried out a warrant at an address in Pendrell Close.
"A 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were detained. Following searches of the address, officers found a shotgun and 13 rounds of ammunition, which have been seized for forensic examination.
"Both the man and the woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition. Both remain in custody for questioning."
