Car driven without MOT or insurance seized by police in Staffordshire
Police in Staffordshire have seized a vehicle after routine checks found it was being driven illegally.
South Staffordshire Police officers stopped a car near Penkridge after checks showed it had no registered insurance and no valid MOT.
After stopping the car they also found that the driver had been disqualified from driving, and arrested him.

Police say the vehicle has been 'seized and the driver dealt with accordingly.'
They added that: 'Driving without insurance or while disqualified is illegal and dangerous, and they are committed to keeping our roads safe' by carrying out these checks.
The arrest follows a number of recent intelligence-led patrols from the force, which they say has been boosted by community reporting.
"Your vigilant reporting is invaluable in our efforts to maintain community safety," a police spokesperson said. "We encourage you to continue sharing any concerns or information you may have through the following channels: Non-emergency (101), Emergency (999) and Crimestoppers (anonymous reporting)."
