Inside West Midlands cannabis farm after more than 50 plants seized by police

Police have given a glimpse inside a large cannabis farm where 50 plants were seized just half-an-hour from Birmingham.

Officers from the Solihull Priority Crime Team, along with the Leos (Lyndon, Elmdon, Olton & Silhill) neighbourhood team, seized more than 50 cannabis plants from a property in Rowood Drive, Solihull on November 18. 

Police shared images of raid, during which they also found growing equipment and an electricity meter that had been bypassed to power the grow.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Our teams across the West Midlands regularly carry out warrants at properties suspected of being involved in cannabis production.

"Officers are investigating to establish who has been using the property to grow the cannabis.
