Man seen with knife and making threats to kill in Wolverhampton amid reports of disorder - arrest made
A man was arrested after police were called to reports of disorder in an area of Wolverhampton on Monday night.
Officers from West Midlands Police responded to the reports on Prosser Street in Park Village at 11pm after a man was seen with a knife and making threats outside a house.
A 22-year-old man was found hiding behind a nearby wall and was taken into police custody for questioning on suspicion of making threats to kill and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Tackling issues relating to drugs, weapons and violence on our streets remains a priority across Wolverhampton and we urge anyone with information about local crime and those involved to call us on 101.
