Couple deny charges of stealing, defrauding and money laundering over £1.6m from Netherton family firm

A couple accused of plundering over £1.6 million stock and cash from their Dudley family business have pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Christopher Yarnold, aged 60 and of Enville Street, Kinver, appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court charged with seven counts of fraud and theft between January 2018 and January 2023 from Netherton based AP Lifting Gear Ltd.

The former director and sales manager pleaded not guilty to stealing £1.6 million worth of stock, £361,000 cash from the directors fund, claiming false expenses, money laundering, adjusting stock levels and claiming his son worked at the company.
