Sleazy Staffordshire Police officer who targeted domestic violence victims jailed again after historic crimes resurface
A former Staffordshire Police officer has been jailed again after admitting new offences against women during his time on the beat.
Hours before a trial at Stafford Crown Court Jarrett Kinson, 43, pleaded guilty to historic offences during his time as a policeman before he was jailed in 2019 for corruption.
The Crown Prosecution Service accepted lesser charges of assault instead of sexual assault and improper use of police powers. However, Kinson's victims did not have to go through the ordeal of giving evidence.
Whilst incarcerated Kinson's then wife found messages from women on social media which sparked a new investigation into his conduct as a policeman.
After responding to a domestic violence incident in 2011 in Tamworth, Kinson gave the female victim his mobile phone number and returned to her home the same night and had sex with her in his uniform.
Playing on her vulnerability Kinson had a long term affair with the woman who was a complainant in this week's legal proceedings.
He conducted an affair with another woman which ended with him assaulting her.
