Man admits killing 'loving angel' by dangerous driving in Smethwick
A man has admitted killing 62-year-old Baljit Kaur by dangerous driving in Smethwick.
Mrs Kaur, 62, was struck by a car driven by Erjon Aliaj on Thimblemill Road on August 28.
Aliaj, 35, of no fixed address, appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court on October 22, to plead to the charge of death by dangerous driving.
He pleaded guilty and will be sentenced on January 8 following the completion of pre-sentence and psychological reports.
Judge Michael Chambers KC said: "You have shown the courage to plead guilty to this serious crime of causing death by dangerous driving.
