Drugs cops score major success after Thursday Hockley arrest leads to massive haul of cannabis and cash
West Midlands Police have recovered a large amount of cash and drugs after arresting a man 'believed to be involved in criminality' on Thursday.
The team stopped a van on Constitution Hill, Hockley, on Thursday night.
Due to the large amount of cash recovered, a 46-year-old was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

As a result of this arrest, searches were carried out at three addresses in Highgate and Handsworth where officers recovered large amounts of cash and cannabis with an approximate street value of £140k.
A 30-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession of criminal property. They remain in custody as the investigation continues.
Detective Inspector Tom Lyons, leading Operation Fearless, said: “We are committed to taking action against those who cause misery and criminality on our communities.
“We will always act on information that we receive. We are listening to the concerns that our communities are reporting and will continue to take action.“
Operation Fearless is working hard alongside partners in Birmingham to tackle drug dealing.
