Connie Parsons, 32, has been banned from entering the Solihull area after being given a criminal behaviour order (CBO) for five years.

Described as a 'prolific shop theft offender', Parsons was handed the banning order after being found to be stealing from shops and businesses.

Following an investigation by the Shirley neighbourhood team, they were able to secure a five-year CBO which will prevent the 32-year-old from entering Solihull.

The CBO came into effect on October 6, with West Midlands Police saying that should she breach the order, she will be arrested and could be jailed.

Sergeant Kev Vince, from the Shirley Neighbourhood Team, said: "My team worked hard to get the CBO imposed as we know her behaviour has been a blight on the community due to her persistent offending and anti-social behaviour.

"I hope this shows the community that we’re taking a strong stance on anyone found to be causing a nuisance in our area."
