Boy, 17, stabbed in Birmingham city centre
An area of Birmingham city centre has been cordoned off by police after a teenager was stabbed.
A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in the Dale End area of Birmingham.
West Midlands Police officers were called to reports of a stabbing shortly after 6pm yesterday (Sunday).
Upon arrival they found the teenager with potentially serious stab injuries. He was given medical treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Police have cordoned off part of Dale End, and are encouraging members of the public to avoid that part of Birmingham.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Our investigation is at an early stage as officers work to establish exactly what happened.
"A scene is likely to remain in place into the morning and we would ask people to avoid the area.
