Ryan Bailey was sentenced to three-years-and-nine-months behind bars at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday, October 2 after he admitted the rape of a girl under 13 at an earlier hearing.

It happened in December last year after Bailey, 19, of Beeston in Nottingham, convinced the survivor to meet up with him in Staffordshire after talking together online.

He originally told her that he was 15 and he had been given £400 to come and see her, but when they met up, Bailey raped her.

After hearing about the meeting, officers from Staffordshire Police moved quickly and arrested Bailey when they were both getting a train.
