Man, 21, charged after police seize drugs, machete and crossbow in Birmingham
A man is due in court after officers seized cannabis and weapons during a property search.
Tj Vickers, aged 21, from Tamworth, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court charged with a range of drug and weapon offences.
It comes after officers from the Yardley Neighbourhood Team were on patrol on Wednesday, October 1, when they spotted a suspicious car on Yardley Road, Acocks Green.

After failing to stop for the officers, the car was discovered abandoned nearby.
However, officers managed to find and detain the suspect, and a search of the car revealed a 'large amount' of cannabis inside.
Enquiries also led officers to search an address in Tamworth, where they found and seized a number of weapons, including an axe, machete, crossbows, samurai swords, and another large quantity of cannabis.
A stolen motorbike was also seized from the location.
Today, Vickers is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court charged with three counts of possession of an offensive weapon, driving whilst disqualified, and failing to stop.
The force's investigation into the drugs is continuing.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Neighbourhood officers are working hard every day to tackle crime causing harm in communities, including drug and weapon offences.
"If you have information or concerns about crime in your area, you should call us 101."
