Man charged with burglary after break-in at Wolverhampton activity centre

A man has been charged with burglary following a break-in at an outdoor activity centre.

Officers from West Midlands Police responded to reports of a break-in at the centre on Paget Road in Wolverhampton on Sunday and were able to arrest a man and recover power tools and electrical equipment on Monday.

Richard Orton has now been charged with burglary and was bailed to appear before Dudley Magistrates Court on October 14.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We've recovered power tools and electrical equipment following a burglary at an outdoor activity centre in Wolverhampton at the weekend.

"Officers arrested a man on Monday and recovered a number of items after the break-in at the premises on Paget Road, on Sunday afternoon.

"Richard Orton, aged 40, has been charged with burglary and bailed to appear before Dudley Magistrates Court on October 14."
