Wolverhampton man, 21, appears in court to face charges of supplying heroin and crack cocaine across the city

A man has been charged with drug offences after officers found crack cocaine and heroin in Wolverhampton.

Karnell Campbell, aged 21, of All Saints, in Wolverhampton, has been charged with drug-related offences following a police investigation into county lines drug dealing.

It comes after officers from the West Midlands Police County Lines Taskforce visited an address in All Saints, Wolverhampton, on Wednesday morning, where a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Following further investigation, Campbell was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin across Wolverhampton. 

The 21-year-old is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court this morning.

A force spokesperson said: "This warrant was part of a wider operation into Class A drugs being sold in and around Wolverhampton, which has now seen seven people charged and remanded into custody.

"Our officers are working to identify those involved in the supply of drugs, exploitation and gang-related activity across the city as part of Operation Redfox."
